Right Beared Shape for Your Face

Properly trimmed and shaped facial hair can go a long way to enhance desirable facial features or take emphasis off weaknesses. While each face will have its own special considerations such as size of mouth, nose, and jawline, there are some general rules for choosing the right facial hair for your face type. Let's look at each.
The Round Face
When shaping the beard for a round face, go a bit longer at the chin to add length and make the face appear less round. Avoid bushy sideburns and keep the sides of the beard short. In lieu of a full beard, a goatee is often a good option for a round face.
The Long Face
Exactly opposite of the round face, the long face requires a beard which is fuller at the sides and shorter at the chin. The goal here is to add width to the sides and make the face appear less long. Make sure to avoid abrupt changes in length so the shaping is not obvious.
The Square Face
Similar to shaping a beard for a long face, the beard for a square face should be shorter at the sides and longer at the chin to add length to the face. Once again, a goatee is also a good option for men with square faces.
The Large Face
Since the face is large, any small facial hair or beard will appear out of proportion and make the face appear bigger. Keep the beard fuller and the mustache larger. Also follow the rules above for the appropriate face shape.

The Small Face

Small faces require small facial hair. Larger, fuller styles will make the face get lost and appear out of proportion. Also follow the rules above for the appropriate face shape.

The Oval Face
You lucky man! The oval face shape is considered the ideal shape and requires no special shaping to balance facial features. Do whatever you like and you'll look great.

Importance of Women

No man succeeds without a good woman behind him.
Wife or mother,
if it is both,

He is twice blessed indeed.

Uses and Benefits of Barley

Properties:
Barley is bitter, sweet, cool, breaks up stool, increases intelligence and appetite, good for the voice, gives strength, causes the formation of wind, destroys the humor of phlegm and bile, clears the blood impurities, cures coryza and satisfies the thirst.

Uses:
1. Barley is commonly used just like the wheat. It is considered as the best cereal for a diabetic patient. If it is taken along with "Methi" or "Chauli" shak then it reduces the excessive fat from the body. It is also good for the milk-giving animals.

2. After crushing barley and then boiling it in the water till 1/4th of the total quantity of water remains and then putting it down from the fire and crushing it further for one hour and if this is given to a person having kidney pains, problems in urination, inflammation while urinating or diarrhea it gives great relief to him.

3. If the water in which barley and kidney beans are boiled, is given to a person suffering from diarrhea it gives him instant relief.

4. If plethora, inflammation and thirst the barley's "sattu" (grinded after roasting) dissolved in the water gives permanent relief.

5. The flour of Barley mixed in same quantity of sugar if drunk helps in preventing abortion. It also pacifies the excessive humor of bile.

6. Women who usually are prone to abortion get benefited if powdered barley mixed with powdered sesame, sugar and honey is given to her.

7. "Sattu" of barley drives away tiredness.

Note:
Barley should not be used by people having gastric trouble.

Be Happy :-)

Don’t make promise when you are in JOY .
Don’t reply when you are SAD.
Don’t take decisions when you are ANGRY.

Think twice, Act wise.
BE happy.

Kiss-Kiss

This Kiss

We stood in the doorway
his hands on my waist
the clock tickling loudly
almost in haste

he moved in closer
his eyes locked in mine
I long for his kiss
For just a moment in time

his lips meet mine
and I feel the sensation
no longer must I wait
to give into the sweet temptation

my knees go weak
my palms become sweaty
I go back to that place
I have been so many times already

the world disappears
all that's left is him and I
and as we pull away
I feel as though I could fly

Wrinkly Skin in water...

Have you ever stayed in a pool or bathtub so long that your fingers got wrinkly? This is normal — and can even affect your toes. But why does it happen?

Even though you can't see it, your skin is covered with its own special oil called sebum (say: see-bum). Sebum is found on the outermost layer of skin. Sebum moistens, or lubricates (say: loo-bruh-kaytes), and protects your skin. It also makes your skin a bit waterproof. That's why water runs off your skin when you wash your hands, instead of soaking it in like a sponge would.

But staying in water for a long time washes away the sebum. Then, the water can penetrate the outer layer of your skin. This causes your skin to become waterlogged. So how does this lead to wrinkles? No one is really sure.

Some people think it's because the skin expands to allow extra water inside. The expanded skin ends up looking really wrinkly. Other people think that it's because the skin is tied down to the tissue underneath in certain places. So when the skin is full of water, it swells up (gets puffy), but only in places where it is not tied down, which makes it look wrinkly.

What should you do if this happens to you?

Nothing. It goes away quickly on its own. You'll have more sebum on your skin in no time.

Water For Skin...

Natural creams and lotions are great for your skin, but if you want your skin to look good day after day and year after year, you have to work on it from the inside out.

Water is considered a life-giving force in Ayurveda, very important in maintaining skin health as well as overall health. It's not always enough to just drink eight glasses of water everyday. For the body, and the skin, to realize fully the life-giving properties of water, people with different types of skin need to consume it differently.

Many have stated that the benefit of drinking water in large amounts is to produce skin that is healthy and younger looking. However, is this a myth or a fact?

Drinking an adequate amount of water daily is important for overall good health because water is involved in and helps improve many bodily functions. These functions include digestion, absorption, circulation, and excretion. There are other more specific benefits for drinking water as well.

Water assists in the flushing or removal of harmful toxins from the body. If the body does not have sufficient water, then metabolic wastes will not be removed as efficiently as they should. In essence, the body would be holding in toxins instead of expelling them as is required for proper health.

Another benefit of drinking water is to carry nutrients into the cells of the body. In addition to helping nutrients get into the cells where they are needed, the benefit of drinking water in adequate amounts also helps to keep the cells well hydrated so they can function properly and efficiently.

Drinking water is also beneficial for muscles. It helps maintain proper muscle tone and prevents painful muscle cramping.

The prevention of kidney stones or at least the reduction of risk of developing kidney stones is another benefit of drinking water in the right quantities.

Drinking water helps to increase the energy level in people and helps to lubricate the joints in the body.

There is a belief that one benefit of drinking water in large amounts is that it curbs the appetite and therefore can be an effective tool for weight loss. Unfortunately, there is no solid evidence that water plays this role. Certainly, drinking water in large amounts will fill the stomach, but this is only temporary. Once the water exists the stomach, the hunger sensation returns, perhaps with even more strength.

Google to hold Android event in early January

SAN FRANCISCO – Google Inc said it will hold a briefing about its smartphone business at its headquarters next week as rumors continue to swirl that the Internet search giant is preparing to sell a Google-branded device.
The company emailed invitations to the January 5 event, which it described only as "an Android press gathering," to the media .

Google's free Android software is currently used as the operating system on more than a dozen smartphones from vendors including Motorola Inc and Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.

Android phones, which can browse the Internet and play video games, compete with Apple Inc's iPhone and other smartphones.

Earlier this month, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters that Google would begin selling its own phone on January 5. The source said the phone would be available for purchase from Google with a contract from Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile USA, or in unlocked mode, in which consumers could use the device with a carrier of their choice.

The Android event will take place the same week as the high-profile Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where tech companies from Microsoft Corp to Sony Corp will be unveiling their latest products for 2010. Press conferences start on January 6 and the show begins on January 7.

According to the Google invitation, the company will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. in California on January 5, with "demonstrations" scheduled between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A Facial Expression is Worth 1000 Words...

Communication is a central aspect of everyday life, a fact that is reflected in the wide variety of ways that people exchange information, not only with words, but also using their face and body. Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany, found out that we are able to recognize facial expressions in motion -- for example, in a movie -- far better than in a static photograph. The video sequence needs to be at least as long as one tenth of a second to gain this dynamic advantage.

A facial expression can state a lot. A nod indicates understanding, a frown may say: "Please explain that again!" Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics discovered that we are able to classify an expression much better when it moves naturally rather than when it is "frozen" in a photograph. In order to gain the advantage of dynamic information, we need to see the expression moving for at least 100 milliseconds. If the video sequence is shorter, our brain is less capable of interpreting the facial motion. Some expressions rely on changes in head orientation, for example, a nod or a shake of the head, others on the complex deformation of facial parts, such as wrinkling our nose to signalize disgust or a frown.

In order to examine to what extent we are able to recognize -- based on facial expressions -- the mood of a person with whom we are interacting, the scientists showed participants pictures of humans with various different expressions. Among them were simple, emotional expressions, such as "happy" and "sad," but also more complex ones such as agreement, confusion, or surprise, which are usually used to emphasize or modify statements in a conversation. In order to investigate whether these expressions are recognized more easily in motion or in static pictures, a short video sequence was shown to the participants. The video recordings began at a neutral expression, showed an emotion, and ended at the last frame before the face started to head back to a neutral expression. The frame used in the static conditions was the last, so-called 'peak' frame of each dynamic sequence. The participants were then asked to identify the expressions based on the shown sequence or single frame.

In further experiments, the video sequences were converted to a series of photographs that was shown to the participants. Nevertheless, the expressions were still recognized more accurately in the video sequence. This showed that the dynamic advantage is not due to the presence of multiple images, but that some form of dynamic information is being used. In order to figure the degree to which facial expression recognition relies on natural movement, the frames were presented as a movie, but in a random order. Comparisons of the performance in this scrambled condition to the original video sequence shows that the recognition rates were still higher in the original than in the scrambled version.

The chronological direction is of importance as well. If the video sequences are temporally reversed, they are again identified less accurately. Finally, the more temporal information we receive, the better we are able to recognize expressions -- at least up to 100 milliseconds. The results show that neither pictures, nor motion alone are of importance, but that we need a combination of the correct temporal sequence and the correct facial motion to reliably interpret facial expressions.

"Facial expressions, like gestures and body motion, are a dynamic phenomenon and need to be investigated with the help of video sequences in order to get a better understanding of the dynamic information that is being processed," says Dr. Christian Wallraven, co-author of the study. "Our results also have implications for the area of computer animation, since its goal is to create artificial avatars and facial animations that are able to communicate realistically and believably," says the physicist and perception scientist.

Road-Ahead

The road ahead is empty
It's paved, with miles of the unknown
Whatever seems to be your destination
Take life the way it comes, take life the way it is

Horizon in the distance
So close, and yet so far away
You shouldn't be surprised when on arrival
The dream has flown away
And fear is not here to stay

The road ahead never gives away a promise
The road ahead is a highway or a dead-end street
A dead-end street

Raindrops on your windscreen
They fall from heaven or from hell
You drive into the light or into darkness
Incertainty as your guide

The road ahead never gives away a promise
The road ahead is a highway or a dead-end street
The road ahead never answers any questions
And nothing is sure along the way, not even tomorrow
With miles of the unknown ahead of you

The road ahead is empty
It's paved, with miles of the unknown
Whatever seems to be your destination
Take life the way it comes, take life the way it is...

NEW YEAR--- NEW BEGINNING :-)

New Year, the most celebrated days in the world. The day is shaped by different customs and traditions. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way. New Year's Day is the first day of the year. On the modern Gregorian calendar, it is celebrated on January 1, as it was also in ancient Rome. In all countries using the Gregorian calendar as their main calendar, except for Israel, it is a public holiday, often celebrated with fireworks at the stroke of midnight as the new year starts. January 1 on the Julian calendar corresponds to January 14 on the Gregorian calendar, and it is on that date that followers of some of the Eastern Orthodox churches celebrate the New Year.

January 1 marks the end of a period of remembrance of a particular passing year, especially on radio, television, and in newspapers, which usually starts right after Christmas Day, Publications often have year-end articles that review the changes during the previous year. Common topics include politics, natural disasters, music and the arts, and the listing of significant individuals who died during the past year.

BUT WHATS GONE IS GONE. Its a New beginning as the Sun wakes up smiling, spreading its gift of Light for a New Journey to set about. Lets begin the Safari of 2010, From 2010 till date.

Whether it is New Year's resolutions time or just time for a new beginning, begin in the best ways to ensure your success. As You have a long way to go, lot of things to do, and many goal to set. you need to consider important factors to change these goal-setting into goal-getting.

Before setting up your goals you need to know What you like? What is right for you? It is important to know what is right for yourself before you think of what is possible. Do you know what brings you joy? If you do know, how often do these things show up in your life? Do you plan for them?

It is interesting--and powerful--to focus your attention on what you want in life...experiences you wish to repeat, attributes you wish to develop, goals you wish to reach and, fulfilling ways to spend your time and energy. When you keep your mind, time and energy on these things, there is little time for anything else--and the "anything else" fades away!

At this time of year it is necessary to decide upon your priorities. If not now then Never. And do it Carefully, making it a well balanced plan.

'Remember the laughter,the joy,
the hard work,and the tears.
And as you reflect on the past year,
also think of the new one to come.
Because most importantly,
this is a time of new beginnings,
and the celebration of life.'
"HAPPY NEW YEAR to you ALL."
My wishes for you in year 2010
Great start for January,
Love for February,
Peace for march,
No worries for April,
Fun for May,
Joy from June to November,
AND Happiness for December...
Have a lucky and wonderful 2010... :)
